We had a wicked-productive weekend! We got up super early on Saturday, and finished the last-minute Christmas shopping. I was even able to find a dress to wear for my holiday parties/Christmas day! We spent Saturday night watching
Christmas Vacation and
Elf while wrapping presents. It was pretty fun, and it felt good to get that part out of the way while it was still fun and not rushed. My husband finished making his famous fudge tonight, so our sweeties are all done! I'll assemble my cookie boxes tomorrow and start to distribute them later this week. I'm feeling pretty darn accomplished right now!
Ugh, I feel like a holiday loser. Can I spend Xmas at your house. We can't even find an evening to get a tree AND we're not even doing Christmas presents. I think I'm cancelling Xmas this year :(

ReplyDelete@Lily - I think most people are coming to the conclusion that Christmas cards are expensive and lame.
ReplyDeleteI've only received one Christmas card this year, and it was from my mom. My "wall of cards" is looking sad. I might move on to electronic holiday greetings next year.
Does your husband pack his famous fudge himself or do you hire someone to do that? Possibly an ex-con?
